Aaaah, summer... the time for sandcastles and sunburns, drippy icecream cones and smoking barbecues, and
fresh lemonade! I love fresh squeezed juice. We grew up in Phoenix with a huge orange tree that had the juiciest, sweetest fruit. (And the greatest climbing branches!) :) We would pick the oranges by the 5 gallon bucketful and make the best juice I have ever tasted... no joke. This fresh lemonade is actually a delicious combination of orange, lime, and lemon juice. Oh my, is it refreshing. This is a family favorite during the summer months that I originally got from my mother-in-law. If you haven't made it already, you better try it out this year!
Freshly Squeezed Lemonade

5 lemons
5 limes
5 oranges
5-6 cups cold water
1 1/2 -3 cups sugar, to taste
Once you have juiced all the fruit, add the water and sugar to taste. It really depends on how sweet/tart the citrus are and how much juice you get out of them. Also it depends on how sweet you like your lemonade! Serve ice cold and enjoy!
Never heard of adding limes or oranges.. Bet it gives it an extra kick...

I recently made this for the first time and thought it was so delicious, so did the whole family. I was so impressed with how easy it was to prepare. I froze the juice from the fruit so I can simply thaw it, add the water and the sugar and enjoy over the winter.
