Buttermilk Rosemary Chicken

Here is one of the yummy grilled chicken recipes I used on the 4th of the July.  This one is with boneless, skinless breasts! (remember my not-so-healthy-but-delicious Bbq Chicken recipe a couple weeks ago?)  This marinade is super easy - just 4 ingredients - but it is fantastic.  Using buttermilk, makes the chicken very moist.  The rosemary and seasonings give it a simple flavor that is just delicious, especially when grilled on the barbecue.

2 cups buttermilk
3 Tb fresh rosemary (or 1 1/2 Tb dried rosemary)
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
4 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts

Combine all ingredients.  Add chicken breasts and let marinate overnight.
Heat grill to medium to medium-high heat (about 375).  Lightly oil grates.  Grill chicken breasts for 8 minutes.  Turn and grill for another 5-8 minutes , or until juices run clear.

  1. I love the recipes on this site and have printed out several recipes from the old site. I haven't printed out anything in a while and would like to know if the print option is as printer-friendly as the old site? It doesn't seem to be and I'm hoping it is so I can print out more of these fab recipes.

  3. Hi N E,
There is a Print This Recipe on the gray bar right above and below the recipe that does work. It won't print the picture (not sure why) but prints everything else, including the little intro part. If you want to just print the recipe itself, I would suggest selecting what you want to print, right clicking and choosing Print. When the little print box comes up, make sure you change the Page Range to "selection" instead of "all" (otherwise it will try and print a ton of extra stuff!!) before printing. Does that make sense? That is what I always do and it works best and is easiest for me. But we will be fine-tuning the Printer friendly button so hopefully it will be super easy in the future! I'm so happy that you like our recipes!! :)

  4. I made this chicken the other night for dinner and it was a huge hit with my family. I have enjoyed the leftovers the past couple days for lunch. This is now one of my favorite grilled chicken recipes and it couldn't be any easier to prepare. Thanks for sharing.
