Baking Up Some Love with Nestle

As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker program, I was thrilled to receive a little Nestle Toll House baking kit and knew exactly what I would make!
I am a HUGE fan of chocolate chip cookies and I can always find a willing helper and taste tester when I want to whip up a batch:)


Cannon and I made a double batch of our favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and added extra chocolate chips--yum!  We baked lots of cookies to include in his brothers lunches for school, and we saved some of the dough for our all time FAVORITE family treat...
PIZZOOKIE


To make this heavenly treat--simply smoosh some chocolate chip cookie dough into a pie plate and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes or until it is barely brown.  Let cool for a few minutes and then scoop lots of vanilla ice cream on top and serve to whoever you want to love you forever:)


This is such a HUGE hit at my house that we keep packages of cookie dough in our fridge so we can have this delight in minutes!



It is the perfect treat for a family home evening, or when you find yourself with a house full of hungry teenagers on a Friday night!  Thank you Toll House for making home baked treats for the people I love so easy and delicious!

    what a cute post, sis! I love pizookies and can't believe I've never tried to bake one at home!! you've reminded me of a fun and yummy treat that I will make for my family soon! Loved the pics of the boys!!! :)

    This is so cute. I love the pic of all of the boys devouring it with big smiles on their faces. I have never made one of these, and I think I have a new treat to try soon!

    I love the pic of the boys all diving in! Mmm, I just remembered I have some dough I saved in the freezer. I blame this website for ruining my diet! lol

    I agree! THe picture of all the boys crowded around the pazookie is so cute! My favorite part is Cannon's laughing face.
