Nutella Banana "Ice Cream"

Banana Nutella Ice Cream

So I've been seeing these Nutella Banana Ice Cream recipes from time to time on pinterest and floating around on the internet.  I tried a version last year, and it was pretty darn good.  I got glowing reviews from the kiddos, and the adults who tried it liked it too.  So I tried it again last week with half the Nutella, and the popsicles I made were still absolutely yummy and had a strong Nutella flavor.  I doubt I'll ever make this again with the full cup of Nutella.  The consistency is surprisingly close to ice cream, too.  You can totally scoop it.  And it worked beautifully in my popsicle forms as you can see.  Way healthier than eating Nutella out of the jar.  Oh wait, am I not supposed to admit that?  And I suppose it is way healthier than eating Nutella Ice Cream actually made with cream.  Oh who cares.  Nutella is divine.  And Nutella Banana Ice Cream is super good!  Period.

Peanut Butter & Nutella Cookies

Calling all cookie lovers!  Do I have a cookie for you.  These Peanut Butter and Nutella Cookies are nothing short of fabulous.  They are moist and flavorful, not dry like many peanut butter cookie recipes I've tried.  And the combo with Nutella is amazing.  I love Nutella.  I really discovered it studying abroad in Jerusalem.  I ate it every day with apples or bread...  can you imagine? It's amazing I didn't gain a hundred pounds!  I've now backed off on my insane intake, I still love the stuff.  I like experimenting with it, and I've got a few other good recipes in the works.  I had to make these cookies a few times before I got it right, and believe me... they are now just right!

  3. Add Nutella in dollops over the top of the dough.

Nutella Hot Chocolate

One of my favorite things about cool weather is breaking out the hot chocolate!  This Nutella hot chocolate is one of my favorites.  I've been making it almost constantly the past week or two.  Brittany was the one who officially got me started.  She used to make us homemade hot cocoa in high school, often on Sunday nights or after we'd both come home from hanging out with friends.  We'd chat and laugh as she stood whisking at the stove, then we'd continue to talk as we sipped our way through a warm, chocolaty drink.  A lot of heart-to-heart conversations were made over a warm mug of homemade hot cocoa.  I imagine this might be the perfect way to start the Thanksgiving baking next week!  This is the easiest recipe and tastes decadent.  Hopefully you'll have a few sisters (or sisters of your heart) to share a warm mug of Nutella hot chocolate with before the craziness all begins!
